OpenCheck is a Switzerland-based digital agency project that combines a premium online presence with AI-powered tools for website analysis and business auditing.
We worked on creating an experience that would present the agency professionally while giving businesses practical tools to assess their websites and receive detailed reports. The project brought together visual design, frontend development, and backend functionality in one connected digital experience.
The Challenge
The goal was to create more than a conventional agency portfolio. OpenCheck needed a digital presence that felt premium, communicated the agency's capabilities clearly, and gave visitors a reason to engage beyond simply browsing its services.
At the same time, the AI-powered analysis tools needed to work as real features, with a backend process capable of analysing websites and turning the results into useful PDF reports.
The challenge was to bring these two sides together: a polished agency experience and practical functionality that could deliver value to businesses.
Our Approach

Seeing it as two products, not one
OpenCheck had to work as a brand experience and as a functional tool at the same time. We started by mapping both halves together — what a visitor needs to understand about the agency, and what the analysis tools have to do once they decide to use them.

Building a premium visual language
We shaped the identity around restraint: a considered type scale, generous spacing, and a dark, confident palette — enough to position OpenCheck as a serious studio rather than another agency template.

Designing the path from curiosity to use
The site needed to carry a visitor from “who are these people?” to actually running an analysis. We structured the pages around that path, so each section answers the next question and the tools feel like a natural next step rather than a separate product.

Connecting the analysis tools
On the development side we wired the interface to the AI-powered analysis so the tools behave like part of the platform — clear inputs, understandable results, and no sense of having left the brand experience behind.

Turning results into reports
We built the backend process that takes an analysis and turns it into a downloadable PDF report, giving businesses something concrete to review, share, and act on after they use the tools.

Reflection
OpenCheck was a lesson in holding two ideas at once — a brand experience and a working tool pull in different directions, and the value was in refusing to treat them as separate projects. The restraint that makes a studio feel premium is the same restraint that makes a tool feel simple to use, and finding that overlap is the part of the work we are proudest of.
